BEAUTIFUL ILLUSTRATIONS, WITH A MONTH PER PAGE. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. 5 5/8 X 3 7/8 INCHES (98 X 143 MM). Excellent Packaging By People Experienced With The Shenanigans Of Careless Mr. All our “lovely little things” are Vintage and as such will have signs of age. Overall size 30 x 15. The color of this woodblock print is amazing, the black color especially shimmers. He was a trendsetter and continued to push boundaries outside the norm. KATSUSHIKE HOKUSAI WOODBLOCK PRINT. Japanese Woodblock Print by Katsushike Hokusai. From the Hundred Poems Series. Circa, Mid 19th century. Measurements: Image: 9 3/4″ X 14″. Frame: 11 3/4″ X 15 1/2″. Print has been in this frame for a very long time. Old square head nails on rear (see pix). Provenance: Out of a 30 year collection. CONDITION: Overall good condition. HAS BEEN EXAMINED OUT OF FRAME. Couple of minor light stains on the bottom rear in the black (hard to see). All 4 corners have been altered to fit in frame (see pix) Frame has edge wear. Backing paper is brown, brittle, and coming off. General wear to be expected. Guaranteed Old And Authentic. Check out my other items. All items will be insured. Title: “Nikko Yumoto Onsen”. Print measures 10″ x 15 1/8″ Oban size. The Hasui red seal mark appears gone. There seem to be a few “scuff” marks of some kind in upper portion of mountains area of print. It is quite possible that someone attempted to clean or possibly bleach this print at some point in time. There is also pencil notations along the top front margin.
