It includes the Watanabe seal, the Hasui seal, and the title (photos 6 and 7). Sheet size: Approximately 21.5cm long x 16cm wide (8.5in x 6.3in). The Kiyomizu-no-butai (stage of Kiyomizu) is a unique form of Kannon-do called kakegai-zukuri. The view from the stage, which is made of hinoki cypress planks and overhangs the Kin-un Gorge, is beautiful from season to season. Spring snow is falling, albeit lightly. Tomoe’s mastery of the quiet, soft rainfall after a spring shower when the cherry blossoms were in bloom, and the wet, heavy tones of the concrete, were his specialties.
