Amano pencil signed, original mid century woodblock of girl. Not a reproduction, not a numbered print, or artist proof… This is the real deal original piece! At a guess your book is a 19th century book. It looks a bit like it’s handwritten because the text was written by hand on paper and then pasted back the front to wooden blocks and the caligraphy carved into the wood, which was then printed…. “Yanonone Goro”, ochre-printed picture by Torii Kiyomitsu I. This depicts Soga Goro polishing an arrow. He depends mostly on arrows, so he is commonly known as Yanone (“arrows”) Goro.
