This is a wonderful original woodblock print hand carved and pulled by American artist Kevin Clark. It is hand signed in pencil in the lower right corner and in the lower left corner is the artist signature stamp along with “artist proof” in pencil. It’s a nice size, approx. 11 inches X 13 inches including a 1.75-inch margin. Hand printed on Japanese handmade paper or “washi”. It has wonderful color and great impression.

This Japanese woodblock print by Yoshu Chikanobu depicts a peony in full bloom during the month of April- Meiji period 1897. From the series : Juni Hitoe. From what I can tell it’s from Uzuki no Fukamigusa- The Twelve Layered Paintings. The print measures 13.25″ x 8.25″ and was folded down the center and has a fold/wrinkle on the right side but otherwise great condition for the age and the colors are vibrant. It comes matted with conservation blue matting that measures 14″x 9.25″. No rips or tears and was preserved nicely.

Pine, bamboo, and plum trees, with a Japanese house at the center, make for a wonderful and spectacular work. This is an original block print by. Title:The Friendly Garden-Triptych. The rank is [B], but there is no major damage. Frames and mats are not evaluated. S:: Same quality as new. A: Excellent condition with no noticeable damage. B: Sense of use, but not bothersome. C: Normal, with scratches, stains, and other signs of use. D: Used item, may have scratches, stains, or other damage. E: Used item with use and damage. W: Items that are junk and badly damaged. V: Items belonging to vintage or antique and may be damaged in some way. All three pieces are signed by the artist. There is foxing throughout.
