Konjiki-do Temple in Snow, Hiraizumi. (SAME QUALITY BUT NOT THE EXACT ONES PICTURED). Heisei later edition ATOZURI print from Original woodblocks 1957. Watanabe Heisei seal is on the right margin. This was the last print Hasui created in his lifetime. It is said that the Buddhist priest is Hasui himself. Ban Tate-e Large size : about 15.75 x 10.5 inches (include margins). Depicting two ladies picking their way carefully over what looks to be wet ground with weeping trees in the middle ground. Possibly it has just rained as they have their umbrellas up still. Signed in pencil lower right and the name of the scene to the lower left. The print measures 40.5cm wide by 27.2cm high. There is foxing throughout and a hazy brown line extending across the skyline as far as the roof of the building.
