Genuine Japanese woodblock print of Torii Gate at Miyajima by Tsuchiya Koitsu

This is a beautiful genuine Japanese woodblock print by Tsuchiya Koitsu. It features the torii of the Shinto shrine on the island of Itsukushima (more commonly known as Miyajima), which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tsuchiya Koitsu was a notable artist in the Shin Hanga movement who specialised in beautiful landscape images. I’ve made a frame for it myself, which can be included for free in the sale if desired. Including the frame, it measures around 61.5 x 41.5cm. The image itself is around 31.5 x 16.5cm. Please message me with any questions or if you’d like more photos. Kasamatsu Shiro Japanese Woodblock Hondo Red Gate in Snow. It is Hongo Red Gate in Snow or Hongo Akamon no Yuki. It was published by Wantabe with the 6mm Wantabe seal. The signature reads Shiro with the seal on the lower right. The title and date, Showa 10, are in the right margin. The sight size is 10 x 15 inches and the frame is 15.25 x 19. Vintage Hiroshi Yoshida Japanese woodblock print titled as Chion in Temple Gate. Print title is written in pencil on lower bottom left – Artist signature is written in pencil on lower bottom right. Measures a little over 15.75 inches across and a little over 10.5 inches high. Pencil writing on both lower corners is light (not a dark pencil mark). Condition: There are 2 small pin holes on both the upper right and upper left. Normal wear to paper edges. Right side of paper is more rough than the left side. Normal discoloration for age.
