Signature is on the flag. Frame size: 15.5 x 13.75. Paper size: 11.5″ x 10.5″. The print is taped at the top to an acid free window mat. Print is in very good condition with minor fading which can be seen where the mat covered a sliver of the sunset at the top. One corner of the frame is damaged but can be easily repaired. I removed the glass to photograph the print. Let me know if you will like me to include the glass in the package. I would suggest replacing with new UV glass.. Just to be sure. The print looks great but the frame shows wear. The frame has multiple scuff marks and looks as old as the woodblock print. I found the following description on the internet describing this print Two fishing vessels set sail at sunset, the warm reflection of the lantern light in the hull playing upon softly shaded sky and water. ” The woodblock print measures 8 3/4″ x 14 inches. He succeeded his father in 1882 to become Yoshimune II and occasionally used his fathers art name Isshsai, along with the adopted name Arai Yoshimune. Worked as illustrator and print designer. Print is titled “Evening Glow in Spring, Toshogu Shrine, Ueno”. In good vintage condition, there is a small hole in the upper left margin, and some paper residue on the reverse side, from where glue was applied to hold the print to a backing. Artist block signed with his personal seal in red at bottom right corner, publishers seal in black located at. Left corner, partially obscured. There may be minor fading to the print due to its age, but the colors are still vibrant and strong, with a good bleed through to the reverse side. I’ve included photos taken both outside in the shade and sun, as well as some inside photos to try and give the most accurate representation or the colors.
