Japanese Wood Block Lg. Print Of Flowers Owned By Hideo Takemura

I believe a Japanese wood block print with beautiful flowers. This is really a beautiful print. On the sides of the picture using Japanese to English google translator it says on the right ” Owned by Hideo Takemura”. On the left hand side it says ” Yaguruma Ki”. And it says “Made in August 1945″. But google maybe wrong. Well if you google August 1945 and Japan the Atomic bomb comes up because that is the month and year it was dropped. I highlighted the symbols so you can see in the photos. The picture is pretty large. Mat size- 19 1/2 inches by 15 1/2 inches. Actual print size- 16 by 11. Condition-really nice but two small dots. One near the signature to the left. And another above the second blue flower from left. Unless you were hunting for them you don’t see. It has been put in an acid free mat. I bought this over 30 years ago in Philadelphia. When we bought this picture it was in a frame. My wife and I loved this print that is why we bought it. This print would look great in any home. In a beautiful frame. The colors on the flowers are brilliant.
