It has Ohara’s red diakokuya seal. He was part of Shin-Hanga or New print movement which had a great influence on Western artists. The print has not been examined out of what appears to be a contemporary simple fruit? Wood frame, which has a frame retailers sticker on the back. I believe the picture dates from the 1920′s/30′s. Including frame it’s 35.7 cm by 19.5 cm, and judging from other listings of this print it has been slightly trimmed. Condition is good, possibly a little discolouration at the print towards the bottom edge, though this could be part of the prints original colouration. The frame has some small knocks.
