Tsuda Seifu Woodblock Print. This is a rare print by Tsuda Seifu, an early 20th century Japanese artist from Kyoto, a book illustrator. Of decorative motifs in a style influenced by Art Nouveau. This one of birds flying in front of a sunset. Print 4.5″ by 3″, framed 11″ by 9.5″. Tsuda, along with Ishii and the novelist and painter Arishima Kiuma, founded the Nikakai (Second Division Society) Exhibition in 1914 or 1915 as a rival to the official government exhibition.
