RARE FIRST EDITION 1924 JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT KAWASE HASUI AUTUMN RAINBOW AT HATTA KAGA. FROM HIS SOUVENIRS OF TRAVEL SERIES RARE EARLY GENUINE 1924 FIRST EDITION HASUI WOODBLOCK PRINT SIZE: 38.7cm x 26cm (15.2 inches x 10.2 inches) AUTHENTICATION: Watanabe Publishers 6mm Seal which was Only Used between 1918 and 1924 can be seen in the lower left corner of the scene AND the Souvenirs of Travel Seal can be seen in the Left Margin. Shoichiro Watanabe personally authenticated this woodblock print and told me This Second Seal was Only Ever used on First Editions and was not used on all the scenes from each series. See close up picture. SIGNATURE: Hasui with Sui Seal Below. Title and Date in Left Margin. Very Good Condition for Age, Full Margins, Very Minor Wrinkle Line in Bottom Left Corner and Some Light Toning which could be removed by a specialist.
