JAPANESE WOODBLOCK Print KAWASE HASUI This Genuine Japanese Woodblock Print by Kawase Hasui shows a scene of Mount Fuji in Spring. This Example displays the artists red seal in the bottom Left of the scene and is Hand Printed from the Original Hand Carved Woodblocks by the Famous Watanabe Woodblock Printing Company in Japan. It is in Excellent Condition, Has Never Been Framed, Displays Gorgeous Colours and Light and Measures 15cm x 10.2cm (5.8 inches x 4.2inches). KAWASE HASUI lived from 1883 until 1957. He is Most Highly Regarded for the Exquisite Colour, Amazing Perspective and Inspiring Ambiance of his wide Range of Landscape Woodblocks. During his Life he Created Over 600 Different Woodblock Scenes and he is Recognised as one of Most Prolific and Most Talented of Shin Hanga Artists from the Early 20th Century. It is no wonder that a Year Prior to his Death he was Honored with the Title of a Living National Treasure. Authentic hand printed Japanese woodblock print. All of our pictures were taken by scanner from our woodblock prints. Sometime during scanning process, the image get diffuse reflection from scanner. That makes yellow shadow on our picture. However all of our prints are perfect condition and not such yellow part on our print. Approx Washi paper Size Height 24.40 cm x Width 37.20 cm (H 9.606 ” x W 14.65 “). Originally published in 1951 by Yoshida studio. This is the later edition from original woodblocks. But very old print in New condition. Printed in Tokyo Japan. Only perfect condition sheet. Kept in very professional codition. The color of the actual woodblock print may be slightly differebt from the image on our pictures. The actual sheet is much better than our picture at all.
