This is a Japanese Woodblock Print by Shuncho Katsukawa. Shuncho was a student of Shunsho Katsukawa and was active from 1783 to 1795. This print is an example of Japan’s Sericulture and is loosely titled “Reeling the Thread”. The print is 10 1/4″ tall and 7 1/4″ wide. The print is framed, matted, and under glass. The frame is 19″ tall and 14″ wide. The print is in very good aged condition with no rips or tears. There is some slight folding to the bottom left corner of the print.
