Up for sale is a small woodblock print by acclaimed Japanese print artist, Kenji (Ken) Kusaka b. Kusaka is a print artist known for his abstract, modernist works. Felix Juda, a super-collector commissioned Kusaka to make a series of card prints through the Red Lantern Shop in Kyoto. This print is one of those that were commissioned. The print is titled, “Work 21, ” numbered 40/200, dated “71″ and signed “KEN” at bottom. It is unframed, but attached to a backing card utilized by Juda in issuing the print, which identifies the commission and the artist. The print and backing card are in excellent condition. Print measures approximately 6.875 inches high x 3.75 inches wide. Backing card measures 8.125 inches high x 5 inches wide.
