He was a Japanese printmaking artist associated with the sosaku-hanga movement and son of shin-hanga artist Hiroshi Yoshida. From 1971 to 1994, until the last years of his life, Toshi worked almost exclusively on animal prints. Toshi was also a children’s book illustrator. He wrote his own short stories and made illustrations in the Animal Picture Book series. Outside dimensions: 21.5″ W x 13.7″ H / 54.7cm x 34.7cm. Inside dimensions: 19.6″ W x 11.8″ H / 49.8cm x 29.9cm. Antique items have originally crease, stain, damage, and more.
