Gosyodoki is a Kind of the pattern of kimono wore by a high-ranking court ladies in the Tokugawa period of Japan such as Ooku. The characteristic of this design is to precisely depict the flowering plants of the four seasons, and to place things that appear in Japan Dynasty literature and Noh, such as the Tale of Genji. According to the book in the Edo era, court ladies guessed and enjoyed the particular story of each kimono pattern related to.
