(11521185) was the son of Taira no Kiyomori, and one of the Taira Clan’s chief commanders in the Genpei War at the end of the Heian period of Japanese history. He was the victor at the Battle of Uji in 1180, [1] and also at the Battle of Yahagigawa in 1181, where, after forcing the enemy Minamoto forces to retreat, Tomomori fell ill, and so the pursuit was ended. Benkei Fighting the Ghost of Taira Tomomori. By Utagawa Yoshitsuya (1822 – 1866). February 22, 1822 August 2, 1866, also known as Kko Yoshitsuya and as Ichieisai Yoshitsuya , was a Japanese designer of ukiyo-e. Yoshitsuya was a student of Utagawa Kuniyoshi. And, like his teacher, is best known for his woodblock prints. Yoshitsuya also produced many advertisements and designs for tattoos. Print Size : OBAN Large size. About 14 x 9.75.
