Takashi studied at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts and painting with Kiyokata Kaburagi. He eventually became one of the artists working with print publisher Shozaburo Watanabe, designing prints from the 1920s through the 1950s. This print bears Takashi’s seal lower right. It is in good condition perhaps with minor color fading. It measures 15 1/4″ x 10 1/8″ (paper size). Please see my other auctions for more fine paintings and prints.
