This set of 8 woodblock prints depicts Tokyo in transition from the Edo period to the Meiji period along with beautiful women. Ukiyoe artist from the late Edo period to the Meiji period. He excelled at portraying beautiful women and specialized in triptych genre paintings. He was a student of???? He also had military experience.
