It is part of Hokusais magnificent Waterfalls series that immediately followed his famous Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji and was originally published during the years of 1833 and 1834. The magnificent Ono Falls where the Kiso River flows over a high rock outcropping along the Kisokaido Road near the village of Kagematsu. Hokusai s masterworks are in the collections of many of the worlds great museums.
