Fine colored woodcut album about 50 pages. With original title slip and cover (has natural wear and tear, and has a minor defect). This volume has minor insect damage top of gutter and cover, pages around cover. All have not reached any image. Although the state of contents is excellent overall, there may be several pages with wear (lacquer stains, etc) because it was utilized as a reference in the Kyoto craft studio. A culmination of Japanese ancient patterns collected from fabric, architecture, furnishing items and crafts of shrines and temples of Kyoto and Nara. The books cost the author Furuya Korin (was a artistic figurer in Kyoto, which was regarded as a successor to Kamisaka Sekka, but he died of sudden illness at the age of 35) many years’ labor.
