These are woodblock print re-strikes. After his famous series of the Edo Period. The reproduced images are very high quality woodblock print copies of the originals. They show that the skills of Taisho woodblock carvers and printers are on a par with those of their late Edo antecedents. While page size is roughly half the original sheet size, the reproduced images are about three-quarters the size of the original foreground images.
