Original Antique Woodblock print by Utagawa Kuniaki dated 1861 depicting a Woman with infant and two Children Greeting Father/husband while Looking Through the Window out at Snowy Landscape. It appears that the dark spot on lower left is the shoulder of the person they are greeting (presumably the father). This is an original antique Japanese Woodblock print by Utagawa Yoshiiku, also known as Ochiai Yoshiiku from 1863. It depicts the actor Sawamura Tossho II as Kojiro. Kojiro was an expert swordsman from the early Edo period (early 17th century) and is often depicted because where he succumbs in dealth to Miyamoto Musashi. 20 1/2 x 16 1/4 x 1 inches frame. 14 x 10 inches print. 4 lb 2 oz.
