This piece is by famed artist, Kikukawa Eizan (1787 – July 17, 1867) and was printed sometime during the early 19th century. This print depicts a courtesan with a man looking through a mirror. This print is in great shape and the colors are still vibrant. It comes in a chrome mid-century frame. The frame measures 16.4 x. 20.75 inches This print is in great shape and the colors are still vibrant. There is 1 very small chip in the glass of the frame, but it is not very noticeable.

Ohara Koson (1877-1945) c. 1920 Japanese Woodblock, Geese in Flight

Koson Ohara was one of the great printmakers of the 20th century, best known for his kacho-e prints of birds and flowers. Koson, was born in Kanazawa, Ishikawa prefecture. Throughout a prolific career, in which he created around 500 prints, he went by three different titles: Ohara Hoson, Ohara Shoson, and Ohara Koson.
