Image Size: 8 3/4″ x 13 1/2″ Signed: Hiroshige Subject: Travellers Fording the Abe River at Fuchu. PUBLISHER: The character, which can be read take (bamboo), is seen within a circle on the back of the green garment in the figure farthest to the right. It is one of the logos of the publisher of this series. Condition is very good, there is some very light fading in particular the yellow of the canopy and hats. The paper is in good condition with only very light marks – no damage. The top right corner edge has a small fold crease, please see the detail in the pictures. The image can also be seen through the reverse of the paper as shown leaving a light impression on the protective board, characteristics of age.
