Mt Fugi From Mizukubo by Takahashi Shotei — Circa 1936. A fine block print by Japanese master printer Takahashi Shotei. This print is still found in its original frame and looks to be in excellent condition. There’s no signs of any edge burning from the matte board. I gather this work also had notations on the exterior edges. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, as well as other institutions, have this exact print in their permanent collection. Measures: Sight; 14 by 9″ — MFA, Boston shows overall dimensions of 10 3/8 by 15 9/16″.
