A woodcut collection of 15 works by 15 talented person (Japanese-style painters, ukiyo-e artist, and celebrities) who were active from the Edo period to the Meiji period, such as Yoshitoshi, Kyosai, Beisen, Keinen, Bairei, Shotei. With original titleslip and cover. No insect damage, excellent state of preservation. BIJHUTSU SEKAI is an art book series supervised by Watanabe Seitei, a Japanese painter from the Meiji era to the Taisho era. For Seitei, publishing this series was a project that does not consider commercial gain with a view to nurturing the younger painters, and most of the works of artists of the same age who sympathized with his idea were newly drawn just for this book.
