Genuine Japanese woodblock print of Torii Gate at Miyajima by Tsuchiya Koitsu

This is a beautiful genuine Japanese woodblock print by Tsuchiya Koitsu. It features the torii of the Shinto shrine on the island of Itsukushima (more commonly known as Miyajima), which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tsuchiya Koitsu was a notable artist in the Shin Hanga movement who specialised in beautiful landscape images. I’ve made a frame for it myself, which can be included for free in the sale if desired. Including the frame, it measures around 61.5 x 41.5cm. The image itself is around 31.5 x 16.5cm. Please message me with any questions or if you’d like more photos. GENUINE JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT TSUKASA YOSHIDA: MOON. A SUPER RARE ORIGINAL SCENE LARGE SIZE: 42cm x 27.5cm (16.5 inches x 10.9 inches) PENCIL SIGNED AND TITLED BY THE ARTIST IN AS NEW CONDITION. TSUKASA YOSHIDA is the second son Toshi Yoshida. He was born in 1949. His woodblock prints display a unique style and in 1981 he took part in the exhibition Three Generations held in the famous Philadelphia Art Museum which was entirely devoted to the Yoshida family. Tsukasa represented the third generation in this museum art show and continues to produce fabulous art works in honour of his family. I have for sale a genuine vintage Japanese woodblock by Kawase Hasui The title of the piece is “Spring Evening at Kintai Bridge” It depicts a beautiful Spring scenery with cherry blossoms in the foreground, and an arched Kintai Bridge, with a man on a boat in the calm river I believe this is the original, first edition from 1947 It is published by Watanabe. It is signed, sealed, dated and titled in left margin On the lower right corner is a 6mm Watanabe Shozaburo seal On the back bottom is written in pencil Kintai bridge at Iwakumi in Yamaguchi Pref. By Hasui” Approximate size of the paper is 15.5″ tall, and 10.5 wide This rare, iconic woodblock print has vibrant colors, and is in great vintage condition overall It is a highly soughtafter work by Hasui.
