Antique, Original Japanese Ukiyo-E Bijin-ga Woodblock Print on Paper, Signed by theArtist and Sealed with Single Round Censor’s Seal Framed With Glass. From 1790 to 1876 (period from most of the best of Ukiyo-E and Bijin-ga were produced) when formal censorship created, all woodblock prints had to be examined by official censors and marked with their seals. Dating in between 1790 to 1876. Unfortunately, can’t identify signature, but definitely it’s Ukiyo-E Bijijn-ga by the greatest artist at this time. Total: 20 5/8″ x 15 5/8″. Image only: 14 1/4″ x 9 3/4″. CONDITION REPORT: AS PICTURED. Amazing impression and perfect condition. Print was not examined without glass.
