Rare Large Hoshi Print in Excellent condition!! “Red Field” 1972 A. Large Japanese woodblock print. 25 x 32 1/4″ (21 3/4 x 29″). Pencil signed, titled, and dated. Wonderful Hoshi tree scene. Most of his red prints are now faded, this one is perfect. Excellent darks and lights, no fade, no toning line. Two hinges on verso. The print looks amazing, just like the photos! Large Japanese woodblock print. Edition of 88 (72/88). 15 1/8 x 19 3/4″ (13 x 17 3/4″) untrimmed margins. Pencil signed, titled, dated, and numbered. Scene of three trees that are close together. Pencil signed and dated, chop lower right. Print size is approximately 9 3/4″ x 4 3/4″. Frame is 15 1/2″ x 12″. A few tiny spots in the margin of print (see pics). Light discoloration on matting. Original Japanese gold metal frame is in very good condition. I’ve taken several pictures, so please consider them part of the description. I love vintage items, so that’s what I tend to sell.
