Antique Original Utagawa Hiroshige Japanese Woodblock Kameyama circa 1842. This is a lovely antique original print by Utagawa Hiroshige Japanese Woodblock of Kameyama, (Turtle Mountain) circa 1842. It depicts workers carrying heavy and large loads down a tree lined path. Signed and stamped upper right and upper left. Utagawa Hiroshige Japanese: born Ando Tokutaro (1797 – 12 October 1858), was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist, considered the last great master of that tradition. Condition: Condition is commensurate with age and use, normal fading for age. It has been pasted to rice paper a very long time ago, as rice paper backing is also discolored. Lightly taped corners to apparently acid-free paper. Cut down to borders. 12 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches.
