Yoshida Hiroshi, September19, 1876 April 5, 1950 20th-century Japanese painter and woodblockprintmaker. He was known for his images of non-Japanese subjects done intraditional Japanese wood block style. In 1931 Yoshida made a series of his prints depicting scenes from India. Prints created by Hiroshi Yoshida with special care bear a jizuri seal (meaning Self Printed) mark at the left margin.
