This image is, in my view, the best from that series. The color woodblock measures 15 1/2 inches by 10 1/4 inches (image size), and is printed on a full sheet measuring a total of 16 3/4 inches by 11 1/4 inches. The print is signed in pencil by Saito at the left of the image, where there is also a red chop mark. The print is not laid down, and the image retains its fresh and vivid colors. The only condition issues I can find are a tiny 1/8 inch tear at the left margin (not entering the image) and some paper residue (from an earlier matting) around the edges of the sheet, where the mat was glued down. The mat residue just enters into the edges of the image in several places, mostly at the bottom (see photos 10 and 11).
