I acquired this through an estate sale. I have no experience or knowledge of Japanese art. I will try to describe to the best of my ability. If I have missed any details or have given incorrect information please let me know. Subject Himeji Castle 1953 First Edition for the Pacific Transport Lines. Artist Kowase Hosui (1883 – 1957) Paper size is 10 1/4″ by 16 5/8″ the image size is 9 1/2″ by 14 1/4″. The print has nice bright colors and is in excellent condition with no crease, stains or foxing. I have a couple of other Japanese wood block prints to list but need to find out the artist first before listing. Any questions please send them to me. Artist is Kawase Hasui.
