For sale an interesting original Japanese woodblock print. From my research the scene is known as “Fuchu” & from “53 Stations of Tokaido Road” by Utagawa Hiroshige. I see that there were various impressions done of this woodblock during the 19th century. I have had no luck in finding the impression which I offer for sale, which has a small red seal top right corner between the longer red seal & black Japanese writing. Please see photo’s.
