This is a woodblock print by Kawase Tosui. It is rubbed with a woodblock on a silk book (silk fabric), not on Japanese paper. Although there are only a few types and numbers, such silk-bound woodblock prints exist among Tomoe Sui’s works. Silk-bound books are usually used for hanging scroll works of old Japanese paintings.
