Signed towards the lower left hand corner. Framed and matted in a black wooden frame and textured mat board. Hasui Kawase Kawase Hasui? May 18, 1883 November 7, 1957 was a Japanese artist. He was one of the most prominent print designers of the shin-hanga (“new prints”) movement. Hasui considered himself a realist and employed his training in Western painting in his compositions – Wikipedia.
