The title of the piece is “A Woman as Lovely as the Traditional Komachi”. It depicts a beautiful geisha playing shamisen, while a boy is playfully clutching onto her arm. On the upper right and lower corner are the artist name and seal. I believe the print was published by Uchida in the early 1900′s. The original documentation pamphlet printed in English and Japanese is also included. Approximate size of the print is: 15″ by 10″. This is a beautiful, extremely rare museum quality work by an important Japanese artist. It has nice impressions with colors and details. It is in good vintage condition overall.
